I just wanted to write a quick post to let you know that I'm going to be taking a break from blogging. I start my PhD on Monday, I've just moved house to a new area, and there's just too much going on at the moment. I've been feeling bad for not posting very often, and I'm trying to write posts (I have loads of half written ones) but I'm not enjoying it anymore. I feel that my last few posts are lacking in effort and I don't like that because I've always put so much effort into my blog - I don't want to ruin it! I've always said that blogging is a hobby and as soon as I start to feel stressed by it I should stop and take a break. Don't worry, I'm still going to be doing my nails and posting them on Instagram. I still love nails I just don't feel that I have the time or motivation to write posts at the moment. It takes a lot of time and I think now that I'm not enjoying writing I should use that extra time to do something else I enjoy. I'm planning on starting up dance classes again which I'm looking forward to!
If you've read my last couple of posts, or follow me on Instagram, you'll know that I've been doing the 31 Day Challenge this year. I made it to Day 22 and, as much as I hate giving up on things, I've decided to stop because I don't have enough time, and also these last few themes are so difficult haha! Maybe I'll finish it off another time. I hate giving up but I'm not enjoying it, so as I said before I should stop and spend my time on something else.
So that's that! I think now that I'm just posting on Instagram I'm going to have a lot more time to do designs because I don't have to go through the whole photo editing and blog post writing bits that take up so much time. This means I should be posting quite regularly on Instagram, please follow me there if you want to keep seeing my designs (I'm @thenailymail (link)), and I'll post them on twitter too (again, @thenailymail (link)).
Maybe I'll be back blogging here in a month or two after I've had a break, but for now you'll only find me on Twitter and Instagram. I hope you all understand!
To any brands that would like to collaborate, I'm still happy to feature products and write short reviews on social media. Please visit my Contact page for more details on that.
Bye for now! I hope to be able to speak to you all on Twitter or Instagram in the meantime though :)

Today I've got a round-up post of days 10-20 of the 31 Day Challenge (#31DC2015). As I mentioned in my days 1-10 round-up post, the challenge is split into three categories and days 10-20 is 'Styles'. I found this section quite challenging but also a lot of fun; I got to try out styles I hadn't attempted before and have another go at styles I've failed miserable at in the past! There were also some easier themes in there which lightened the load a bit - I'm finding it so difficult doing designs everyday!
I don't want to waffle on too much so if you want to know more about a particular design then details are on my Instagram page, or you can leave me a question in the comments.

If you follow me on Instagram then you'll know that I'm taking part in the 31 Day Challenge (#31DC2015) this year. You can find more information here, but basically everyday through September there is a theme and you do nails according to that theme each day. It's split into 3 sections; Colours, Styles, and Inspired By.
I've been posting my nails each day on Instagram (you can find me here!) but I'm going to do a round up blog post at the end of each section. Today I'm showing you Colours :)

My Nail Polish of the Month for August is from a brand I hadn't tried before now but is a firm favourite among beauty bloggers. Every month I have picked a colour as my Nail Polish of the Month, but this month I have picked a nail effect top coat that I've been using a lot recently to refresh a plain mani as I've become bored of it, especially on holiday when I wasn't doing a new mani as often as I usually would at home.

I've got another WAH London review for you today - the WAH London Ultimate Nail Art Kit. If you missed my last post on the new WAH London Immerge nail art kits then you can see it here.
I remember when the Ultimate Nail Art Kit was released and I was desperate to have it until I saw the £80 price tag. I mean, you do get plenty in there and it does look amazing, but I'm not one to go making extravagant purchases like that - I'm always after a bargain! If I was someone just getting into nail art and didn't already have a bajillion nail polishes and nail tools, then I'd have been a bit happier paying it because it has everything you need. Luckily for me I managed to grab it while it was £10 on the Boots website (more on that at the end!).

This summer WAH London brought us WAH Immerge; highly pigmented jelly polishes that use 'patented ombré transformation technology' to blend and merge, creating tie dye patterns and gradient effects inspired by the psychedelic '60's.
There are two kits available; The Lava Set that gives a tie dye and sort of lava lamp effect, and The Flame Set that gives a more subtle red gradient look. Today I'm showing you The Lava Set!
