Barry M New Guava Gelly & Confetti

Once again I have fallen in love with another nail polish; Barry M's new Guava Gelly nail paint.

Guava is one of five of the new Barry M Summer Gelly polishes, and as soon as I saw the first picture of Guava I knew I had to have it!

Isn't it such a beautiful colour?!

I decided to try a matte top coat on it, and I think it looks very nice, but with it being a Gelly - so naturally shiny - I decided to stick with the shine :) What do you think?

Shiny or Matte?

I also got the new Barry M Confetti effects, so thought I would try one of them out over the top of Guava. I'm so glad I did because I think it looks great! The Confetti I have used is Dolly Mixture, which is one of five of the new Confetti effects range.

Barry M Confetti Effect - Dolly Mixture

I think Dolly Mixture Confetti looks great with Guava. Although I love Guava on it's own, I think adding Confetti is a really simple and effective way to make your nails look more snazzy/eye-catching. What are your thoughts on Guava and Dolly Mixture?

- As with all of the Barry M Gellies, the polish is really shiny so you can get away without wearing a top coat. I also found that it doesn't chip very easily, but I wear a top coat with the Gellies just to make them last even longer.
- The colour is a lovely turquoise colour and is very bright. One coat is enough, but I used two coats to get a nice even finish.
- For £3.99 it really is fantastic value. Especially for a shiny, smooth, long-lasting polish in such a beautiful and vibrant colour.

Overall, I am very impressed with Guava Gelly nail paint and would definitely recommend it - I just can't get over how nice the colour is! I have bought two other colours from the summer Gelly range so I am looking forward to trying them soon :)

  1. I think I am going to have to get Guava! It's so pretty!! Love it with the confetti too x

    1. You have to, it's such a nice colour! Thanks, I wasn't too sure about the confettis at first but I think they're great :) x
