Models Own: Freak Out!

Make your nails gleam and glisten with Models Own Freak Out! As Models Own said themselves, it will take your nails 'from boring to BLING!' - and I couldn't agree more!

Freak Out! is from Models Own Glitterball Collection and is one of five of these dazzling polishes. Models Own have called these 'nail frostings' that you can wear alone or over the top of another polish to give your nails a 'frosting finish'. I decided to try it out over another of Models Owns polishes, Blueberry Muffin:

I love this glitter polish because it is so easy to apply, it glides on without clumping so spreads the glitter evenly across the nail.

Another thing that I love is the different shapes and sizes of the pieces of glitter. It has randomly cut larger pieces of aqua coloured glitter, including triangles, squares and short strands. There are royal blue coloured smaller hexagons, and small regular glitter in fuchsia. These are all in a clear varnish.

You can build up the glitter by adding more coats, but I personally prefer it with just the one coat:

One coat (left) or two coats (right)?
This polish is a fantastic way to add some sparkle to a plain manicure, it's very shiny and eye-catching. For those of you that follow me on Twitter, you may have seen my tweet about the little girl who said I have 'beautiful fingers', well I'm assuming she meant my fingernails, but this is the polish I was wearing.

- Easy to apply
- No clumping or stickiness
- Great glitter coverage
- Nice range of glitter shapes and colours
- Eye-catching
- Lovely 'frosting' finish

Freak Out has given me high expectations for the rest of the Glitterball collection, so I'm looking forward to trying them out too! I would definitely recommend it, especially for those of you that are looking for a quick and easy way to add an interesting finish to your nails.

  1. I love all the Mirrorball collection! They look great over other Models Own colours. I remember your Twitter comment about 'pretty fingers' - I would have to agree with the little girl! Great choice!
