BCA Month Design 1

 Hi everyone!

It's the 1st of October which means Breast Cancer Awareness (BCA) Month is upon us. Myself and quite a few other girls are going to make BCA designs throughout October. I'm going to try and do quite a few different ones, and this is the first:

  So much pink!

For this design I have used a few of my Models Own favourites including Bubblegum (my all time favourite!), Pink Fizz and there's also a bit of Hot Stuff mixed in on my index finger nail. I've also used a couple of Barry M colours (Matt White, Raspberry and Marshmallow confetti) and Avon's glitter pots.

In case you're wondering how that mash-up of colours on my index finger nail came about, I used a fan brush to create stripes but didn't wait for each layer to dry, causing them all to smudge into one!

It would be great of you could try some BCA nail art this month too. It is important to raise as much awareness of breast cancer as we can, and by wearing designs like these on our nails people are always going to see them (e.g. when handing money over in a shop). Let's raise awareness by doing what we love - nails! If you are interested in trying some designs then please share them with me as I would love to see them. @JosephineJakobs on Twitter is also asking to see peoples watermarked BCA designs, so make sure you send them over to her too!

I am doing some fundraising for BCA throughout October. I am painting my designs onto false nails and selling them to friends and family, then giving half of the money to breast cancer charities. I have already sold 4 sets and am hoping to sell plenty more to raise money for a great cause.

I hope you like my design! I will be keeping it on all week and will try my best to flash my nails about as much as I can to raise awareness! Next week I will be doing a different design so make sure you check back! And don't forget to send me your BCA designs too :)
