Jacava London: Toffee Apple*

Today I have a Jacava London nail polish to show you. This is one of my first Jacava polishes so I was very excited to try it out! I received a few different colours and the one I decided to try first was Toffee Apple*:

Toffee Apple worn with Jacava's 'Top Coat (with UV Inhibitor)'
Toffee Apple is a beautiful warm red colour that is perfect for Autumn. I love having red nails, but I find bright red can sometimes be a bit over the top, especially as we are moving closer into Autumn, so I'm loving this deeper shade of red.

I think this is a lovely colour!

Toffee Apple is available on the Jacava London website for £14.50. Personally, this is a bit out of my price range, it is very rare that I would spend any more than £6 on a bottle of nail polish because I buy so many I just couldn't afford to do so! However, when I put on Toffee Apple I could instantly see that it was a very high quality polish; it applied so smoothly and streak-free and had a lovely shiny finish. So you get what you pay for - a luxury polish. For me, they would have to be 'special' polishes that I bought myself as a treat if there was a colour I really liked.

Jacava London polishes are the world's first '8-free' polishes! This means they are free from many nasty chemicals that are often found in most other polishes, they aren't tested on animals either! You can read more about this here.

There's a nice range of colours to choose from on the website, there's some really nice Autumn colours at the moment, why don't you check them out here? Although it's not a typical Autumn colour, I really like the look of Chillax, it's a very unusual green - I love it!

- High quality: I found it very easy to apply, and even with just one coat the colour is completely opaque without any streaks!

- Shiny, professional finish.
- Dries quickly in comparison to most other polishes from other brands.
- The long wand and brush make application fast and easy. The brush is narrow so application is tidy and the wand is long and feels as though it has been designed to make application quick and effortless. In fact, the brush is long enough to reach the bottom of the bottle meaning you can actually get all the polish out! I've never come across this before, it's a fantastic idea, usually I end up having to throw unfinished bottles away,
- '8-free' and not tested on animals.

- For someone, like myself, who likes to buy loads of different nail varnishes for nail art etc, it is quite pricey. However, if you are happy sticking to using a few of your favourite colours, or fancy treating yourself, then I would recommend buying Jacava polishes. The bottles will last you ages as you don't need to put on loads of layers, and the polish is fantastic quality and long lasting.

- I couldn't afford to make a habit out of buying Jacava London polishes, however I am very impressed with the quality of Toffee Apple, so if I found a polish from the collection that I really loved (Chillax is very tempting!) then I would probably treat myself to just one every so often (my birthday is coming up soon...hmmm...)

To sum it all up my view is 'professional looking nails with very little effort'.

I love trying out new brands and I'm so glad I got to try Jacava London. I love Toffee Apple, I'll be wearing it a lot through Autumn and Winter, and I'm looking forward to trying out the other colours, keep checking back over the next few weeks to see them!

What do you think of Toffee Apple? Have you tried Jacava polishes before? Leave me a comment, I'd love to know what you think :)
