Polish Party November Challenge: Disney - 101 Dalmatians

It's the 3rd month of Polish Party and November's theme is Disney! What was great about this theme is that there were so many options. However, it was also quite a difficult one because Disney includes a lot of characters so it meant I had to attempt my first character/portrait design!

The part of Disney I chose to do was the film 101 Dalmatians. This was my favourite film as a child (along with Toy Story), I must have watched it every single day. I did want to do a Toy Story design but it required brown polish, and I don't have any. It must be the only colour I don't own!

I have to admit that I am very proud of this one, it went so much better than I expected, especially the dog. I really love the nail with the cute little dog bones on! Which nail is your favourite?

The index and middle fingers are supposed to represent Pongo and Perdy with their red and blue collars and the dog is one of the many puppies, I just couldn't decide which one!

For this design I used Barry M's Matt White, Blood Orange, Blue textured, Gold foil and Black. I also used Barry M's nail art pens that make nail art a lot easier, they're definitely worth trying if you find nail art a bit of a struggle.

So, what do you think?! Leave me a comment :)

Make sure you check out the rest of Polish Party's takes on the Disney theme below. We have a couple of new members this month, it's great to see our group growing and more people getting involved! If you'd like to join, read a bit more about Polish Party here and let one of us know - the more the merrier!
