Christmas Presents (come and have a nosey!)

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you all had a great day!

I had one of the best Christmases ever, I had a great time with my family and got some lovely presents, including nail things of course! I can't believe I'm saying this but I don't think I can deal with any more nail stuff, everywhere I look there's nail varnishes, brushes etc, I just don't have anymore space! I wish I had a nail room like some other bloggers do :(

Anyway, time for me to show off what I got and for you to have a little nosey!

I got Nails Inc's nail polish diary which I love sooo much. Some of my favourites include the Electric Lane and Belgravia Place, I still need to try the others but Baker Street looks so beautiful. I'll be posting a quick mani I did using a couple of them tomorrow, so check back then if you want to see what I came up with (it's a bit of a mix and match / Christmas one!).

I also got my Secret Santa gift! I had been extremely excited about this since the idea first popped up a few months back. My Secret Santa was Zala from Polish Your Day, which was very exciting because she has sent me some brands that you don't find over here in the UK. Here's what she sent...

I got some Catrice and Essence polishes which I've ever tried before, and it's quite funny because my boyfriend went to Geneva a few weeks ago and I asked him to pick me some up but he didn't come across them. I'm excited to try out the sand polishes because I had my eyes on OPIs Liquid Sands but they're quite expensive so these will be a great alternative. Thank you Zala!

I also got some nail studs, glitter and nail files. I've never used studs before so I'm looking forward to using them, I think I'll be using the black and white ones in this months Polish Party design. And I got some Bohem nails (real silver nails!) but unfortunately they were too big so I'm going to exchange them for a smaller size.

I got my sister two of Models Owns Velvet Goth collection which she seems to really like. My dog also bought her one (well I bought it on his behalf!). And whilst we are on the subject of my dog, here's Dylan waiting very patiently to open his presents on Christmas morning...

He was super excited this year. When I went through to the living room he was already sat next to them waiting so we let him open his presents first. And here's my rabbit Marcus, or should I say 'Marcus Claws', wearing his Santa hat...

So I've got plenty of nail varnishes to keep me going for a while, I probably won't need anymore until next Christmas (let's see how long I last though :P). What nail goodies did you get for Christmas? Send me a link, I'd love to have a nosey at what you got!

Keep an eye out over the next week for Polish Party's December challenge, this month is Black & White :)

  1. Fab post, sounds like you got some fab gifts! Studs are so awesome to use, I love them, although I've just had to exchange my little tin I keep studs/glequins in for a much bigger one cos I got so much more stuff for xmas - like you I don't think my house could deal with much more..... for a few months anyway ;-)
Hope you had a lovely Christmas and looking forward to seeing your new things in action :-)

    1. I had wanted studs for ages and found these a while ago but asked my mum to wrap them up for Christmas for me. I'm very excited to use them! :D I love your spikey stud nails, they were amazing!

  2. Such a nice present haul! I am most jealous of the polish calendar, looking forward to see some swatches :)

    1. I was very lucky this year, I was absolutely made up with the Nails Inc diary! I'll be swatching them as soon as I can, but which to use first?! haha :D
