Models Own: Lilac Sheen HyperGel - Pastel Stripes

Hi everyone,

Today I tried another polish from Models Own HyperGel collection; Lilac Sheen. I'm sure you've all seen the swatches by now so I thought I'd do something a bit different with it.

Lilac Sheen is a beautiful pastel colour, and for me pastels and white stripes are the perfect combination. So here's what I did...

Simple but sooo pretty! I can't stop looking at it!

I painted the white stripes using the brush of my Models Own white nail art pen. It's definitely one of the best pens I've used when it comes to doing straight lines.

I love Lilac Sheen, it's a beautiful colour, and being a gel effect polish it dries really shiny. A few days ago I swatched and reviewed another HyperGel, Blue Glint. I noticed a couple of differences between the two; Blue Glint only required one coat (although I've used two in my swatches) whereas Lilac Sheen needed two coats but dried a lot shinier.

I'm really impressed with the HyperGels so far, the application is fantastic and I love the shiny, professional finish.

I hope you like my pastel stripes as much as I do! I'll be wanting to keep this design on for ages but I'm also really desperate to try the rest of the HyperGels so let's see how long it lasts!

What do you think of the HyperGel polishes? Do you have a favourite? Let me know :)
