Polish Party March Challenge: Spring - Daisies

Polish Party time is here again and this month's theme is Spring. I love it when we have a theme that allow loads of different possibilities for designs, because you expect everyone to come up with something different. However, most of us seem to have gone for flowers so far... and so have I!

I created a daisy design using a selection of Models Own HyperGel polishes as the background colours, and painted some pretty daisies over the top. I then used Goose from Models Own Speckled Eggs collection for the middle of the daisies.

Models Own HyperGel: Cornflower Gleam, Cerise Shine, Coral Glaze, Red Lustre, Blue Glint

I've never been very good at designs that have fine details, mainly because I didn't have a brush small enough until today. I went out and bought the tiniest brush I could find, but the petals still weren't as fine as I hoped they would be. Still pretty though!

I was tempted to add some small polka dots in between the daisies but thought it could end up looking crowded. What do you think?

I hope you like my daisy nails! Don't forget to check out the rest of the Polish Party girls' designs using the links below :)

  1. I forgot to comment on these! I meant to as soon as I saw them and it slipped my mind :( Anyway - they look so so good! The design really showcases the Hypergels, doesn't it! (Loving the 'Behind the Scenes' feature too - such a cute idea!!)

  2. This design is stunning! The colour combination works so well - I think I really need to buy some polishes from the HyperGel collection now! It was such a good idea of you to use Goose for the centre of the flowers - I would have never thought of that! :)
