Barry M - Sugar Apple Gelly - Spring Stripes

Just a quick post to show you today's pretty manicure. Once again I have gone for simple yet effective with pastels and stripes - I think they make the perfect combination!

I used Sugar Apple from Barry M's new Spring Gelly collection for 2014. If you haven't got these pretty pastels yet then you need to - they're absolutely perfect for Spring (check out my swatches and review of them here). I then used a striping brush for the stripes (Models Own Artsitix nail pen is my one of choice!).

What do you think? Is anyone else loving pastels at the moment?

I hope you are all enjoying the lovely weather we've had over the past few days and have been having fun creating Spring and Easter nail art! Although I'm loving Spring pastels and would happily wear them every single day, I have a plan to do something very colourful next week, although it's going to be quite challenging, so fingers crossed!

Have a great Easter! :)

  1. This is so gorgeous! I wish I had the skill, it screams Spring.

    1. Thank you! It's actually really easy to do if you've got a nail pen with a striping brush. Models Own's Artistix pen is my favourite. Definitely give it a go, you'll be surprised by how easy it is! :)

  2. This is so pretty! Sugar Apple looks great - perfect for Spring! Your stripes are so straight too! :)

    1. Thanks! I know, I just love pastels! I think they are a great addition to the Barry M range :)
