50/50 Triangles (& tutorial) with O.P.I.'s 'Dinner at Sunset' from Unineed*

Hi everyone,

Today's manicure brings the return of my favourite 50/50 style nail art and features a gorgeous OPI polish, 'Dinner at Sunset'* from Unineed.com (a beauty blogger's heaven with many bargains!).

I have also used OPI's 'Love. Angel. Music. Baby.', Barry M's Matt White, and a matte top coat.

'Dinner at Sunset' is a really pretty polish, and as usual with OPI polishes I was very impressed with the formula; smooth application, opaque in just 1 coat, and a smooth, shiny, professional finish. I'm a little bit obsessed with OPI at the moment - I can't believe I hadn't tried them until recently!

'Dinner at Sunset' actually has a very glossy finish, but I loved the look of it with a matte finish too, especially with the satin effect of the gold. Here it is with a glossy finish, which do you prefer?

If you head over to the Unineed website there's quite a few OPI polishes on there with very impressive savings (e.g. Dinner at Sunset is reduced to £5.99 from £11.95), so it's worth having a look and stocking up on some of your favourites! If you have any OPI favourites then please leave me a comment with their names or a link as I'm looking for suggestions so I can add to my collection!

Tutorial
I've done a tutorial for this design if you'd like to give it a go yourself! If you do try it out please let me know - I'd love to see your recreations using different colour combinations!

  1. I totally understand that you became obsessed with OPI polishes, they are good quality ones and one is more beautiful than the other. The nail art you made looks so pretty and cool in the same time, love the final effect!

  2. I love the names of O.P.I polishes. They are always brilliant! Vampire State Building is one of my favourites, especially for toes! I always find that higher priced brands do have a longer life overall, and don't go all gloopy, so can totally understand your new recent obsession x
