Essie 'Fear or Desire'; Swatch and Nail Art with Tutorial*

The glorious weather may have disappeared but I'm still rocking bright summer nails in the hope that it will tempt the sun back!

The nails I have for you today feature this absolutely stunning Essie polish from Unineed, Fear or Desire...

It's so beautiful! I love the formula too; it applied so smoothly and the finish is really glossy and smooth! The first coat was a bit streaky, so you'll definitely need two coats.

I've added a bit of nail art, just some simple black and white stripes in a ruffian style mani, but they look really bold against the vibrant orange. They'd be great for any upcoming holidays or festivals!

Although it's fairly simple nail art it can be a bit fiddly to do, so I've put together a quick picture tutorial for you. There's also a video over on my Instagram if you'd like to view it that way instead. Let me know if you try it out!

Fear or Desire is the first Essie polish I have tried and so far I'm really impressed with the quality of the polish, the vibrant shade, and the glossy finish (it's so smooth, I can't stop stroking it!). I'm definitely looking to add more Essie polishes to my stash!

Essie's Fear or Desire is available from Unineed for £4.94 (currently reduced from £9.95). There's not a huge range of Essie polishes on the Unineed website, but they currently have some pretty summer shades available at a lower price, not just Essie but other nail polish brands too, so it's worth heading over to have a look and grab some of your favourites! I hope they add more soon!

  1. The essie polish is beautiful by itself but you made it a WOW effect because of the nail art. The contrast between the colors are striking. Love it!
