Top 5 Autumn Nail Polishes

Autumn is just around the corner (how fast is this year going?!) and it's time to start bringing out those warm and cozy autumn shades. I've picked five polishes that I think you need this autumn, taking colour inspiration from fashion as well as the typical autumn-y colours.

Barry M - Mustard

I am absolutely loving this polish at the moment, it's my favourite from Barry M's latest collection and it seems to be a favourite amongst most other Barry M fans too from what I've seen.

£3.99 from Superdrug/Boots/BarryM.com.

Ciaté - Encore
I don't know why there aren't more burnt orange nail polishes out there as it's such a gorgeous colour. Encore is one of my favourite Ciaté polishes, I've only got the mini version at the moment but I'll definitely be buying myself a full sized bottle, I love it!
£9.00 from Ciate.co.uk

Barry M - Cardamom

Another polish from Barry M's AW14 Gelly releases (they really got these latest additions spot-on for autumn!). Barry M's Gellys have great formulas, apply smoothly, and dry to give a super glossy finish - if you've not tried them before then you really need to!

Apologies for the line/bump across my middle finger nail! My
nail snapped and I had to do a teabag repair (Google it)
but it didn't set as smoothly as it should have, leaving a big bump!

O.P.I. - Do You Have This Colour in Stock-holm?

An absolutely stunning colour! It's so eye-catching - it's perfect for the daytime as well as nights out. I think this has made it onto my Top-10-polishes-of-all-time list! The formula isn't as good as I have come to expect from OPI, but considering how beautiful the colour is I have decided that it is completely forgivable!

£11.95 from OPI.co.uk (can also be bought as part of the mini set).

Jacava London - Black Forest Gâteau
This colour just screams autumn. I'll give you Jacava's description from the website because I couldn't possibly describe it any better myself...

'A predominantly glossy blend of luscious black cherry burgundy-red, with delectable dark chocolate undertones.' Jacava.com

Jacava's polishes are of incredible quality. They're fairly expensive but so worth it if you're looking for a polish that is going to last and gives you a professional looking finish. And if that's not enough, all of Jacava's polishes are 8-free and vegan friendly!

£14.50 from Jacava.com

There's another polish that I was hoping to put on the list and that's Nails inc.'s Fleet Street Leather Effect polish, however Nails inc. don't seem to sell it anymore which is really disappointing. I decided not to include it in the Top 5 as there's no point in me recommending it if you can't get hold of it. It's such a shame as the polish has such a lovely finish. Luckily I've got a bottle and will be wearing it through autumn and winter, if you can find it on eBay or Amazon then grab it while you can!

I hope this post has helped you to decide on which colours you need to be adding to your collection this autumn! Are there any colours you would add/replace? If you've done a post like this yourself then I'd love to have a read of it - leave me the link in the comments below!
