Lady Gaga ARTPOP Nail Art

Last night I went to Lady Gaga's artRAVE concert in Manchester (it was amazing!), and obviously I had to do some nail art for the occasion!

I got my inspiration from the ARTPOP album cover and the Applause single artwork shown below.

I used mostly Barry M for this manicure, but here's the full list of polishes:

Barry M - Damson, Kiwi, Mustard, Blood Orange, Lychee, Matt White, VIP, Starlight, Black nail art pen, White nail art pen.

Jacava - Midnight's Secrets.

Seche Vite top coat (I used this for the first time doing this manicure, I like the look and feel of it on my nails once it's dry but it smells so bad when you're applying it!).

Jeff Koons Gazing Ball - 3D nail art
On my ring finger in the picture below I attempted some 3D nail art to create the big blue ball (Jeff Koons Gazing Ball) that you see on the ARTPOP cover.

To do this I used a single bubble of bubble wrap, stuck it to my nail using PVA glue, then painted over it. It was quite fiddly getting the bubble to lie flat against my nail. It managed to stay on for 24 hours but I kept pressing it because it felt so weird and it ended up falling off during the show! I'm planning on using this technique again for some Halloween nail art - keep your eyes (hint, hint!) peeled!

That's it for the nails, I really hope you like them! I did do them in a rush and the pictures aren't great because I was pushed for time, but I am really happy with them. Now for some pictures from the show - enjoy :)
