Glamor Magazine + Free Nails Inc!

When I was shopping earlier today four Glamour magazines somehow landed in my basket. I noticed that each had a free nails inc polish inside so I thought I might as well keep hold of them. I definitely didn't make a special trip to the shops, leg it down to the magazine aisle, and dance with joy when I noticed that all four colours were available...

Okay, maybe I'm telling a bit of a fib, but I'm sure you are all going to do the same when you see them and realise how amazing the deal is! I just wanted to give you a heads up and show you some quick swatches of the polishes.

Glamour magazine's December issue (£2) comes with one free nails inc polish worth £11 each. There are four autumnal shades to choose from so if you're lucky enough to manage to get hold of all four you will get £44 worth of nail polish, plus the four magazines, for £8. You really can't get much better than that. I'm going to stop waffling on anyway and show you the polishes, ain't nobody got time for reading when there's free nail polish to be grabbing!

Marylebone Mews
Grey-lilac.
2 coats, no top coat.

Tate
Deep red. I used to shy away from red polishes but I have been liking the darker shades of red lately.
2 coats, no top coat.

Wigmore Street
Deep purple. If you've ever tried to photograph purple nail polish you will know that it is near enough impossible to capture the true colour. In my pictures it leans more towards blue but in real life it is definitely purple. The picture at the bottom of this post is more similar to the true shade.
2 coats, no top coat.

Hanover Square
Burgundy. Very deep and very autumnal. I know this is a go-to shade for most people in autumn, perhaps not for me though, I'm too pale for it I think.

I was so impressed with the finishes of these polishes, just look at how shiny they are, even without a top coat! I think Marylebone Mews looks like a Gel polish, the finish looks so professional.

Usually when I swatch collections I say 'If you have to choose only one make it *this one*', but in this case I think you need to go out and grab them all while you can because I doubt there will be another deal like this for a while! That said, Wigmore Street is my favourite.

Each of these shades have been created exclusively for Glamour magazine for the December issue which is available until around the 2nd of December I think. There's also a 20% off a £20 spend H&M voucher, and a Body Shop Christmas Wishes card where you can win money off in store. So it seems like a great issue!

Let me know what you think of the polishes and if you manage to get hold of some yourself :)

P.S. sorry about the slightly grainy pictures, I'm struggling with lighting now that the nights are drawing in! #BloggerProblems

  2. Usually there's a couple of shades I love and a couple I'm not so keen on, but all of them are beautiful this year! That said, I already own enough red and burgandy shades so I picked up Wigmore Street and Marylebone Mews, I can't wait to try them. Lovely post :) xx

  3. I just got Wigmore Street :) It's VERY similar to Barry M's Plum but possibly not as blackened. I'm tempted to pick up Marylebone Mews....
