Top 5 Nail Art of 2014

Happy New Year!

My first post of 2015 is a look back through my favourite pieces of nail art from 2014. Enjoy!

Gaudi
This was inspired by Gaudi after my trip to Barcelona in July. I love Gaudi and if you are a regular reader of my blog you will know how much I love mosaic nail art too, so this design had to be done!

Blue Flowers
I did these for a wedding to match my dress. They took absolutely ages but were worth it in the end!

Disco Ball

These turned out so much better than I expected. I'm still waiting to be invited to a big party so I can recreate these!

Autumn Mosaic
These were inspired by the Gaudi mosaic design above but I decided to use autumn colours and integrate a gradient too.

50/50 Leopard

I have already said I am a big fan of mosaic nail art but 50/50 is another I am quite fond of! This is my favourite of the lot. I did my first video tutorial with this design too!

The Winner?

The Gaudi inspired mosaic. I love the colours and it brings back so many nice memories every time I look at it. So many of my readers and followers loved it too which made me so happy, especially as so much work went into it. If I had to wear one piece of nail art for the rest of my life then this would be it!

Which is your favourite? Let me know :)

  1. All such beautiful manicures but my favourite has got to be the Autumn Mosaic! Gorgeous colours and I love the gradient effect.
I have no idea how you manage such intricate designs though :o

    1. Thank you! :) It requires a very fine paint brush, a bit of foil, and a lot of time and patience! I'm working on a video tutorial at the moment, it's just taking longer than I expected!
