Nail Polish of the Month - May

It seems like only last week I was writing my post for April's Nail Polish of the Month - May has flown by! The end of the month crept up on me and I didn't have any idea what polish to pick as my Nail Polish of the Month. I started trawling through my Helmer (which reminds me, I've had a massive de-stash and have made a blog sale) and came across a polish that I have briefly mentioned on my blog before and was very popular among my followers on Instagram.

I'm obsessed with red-coral colours at the moment, and I can't resist gel-like ultra glossy finishes. With that in mind, my Nail Polish of the Month for May is...

Revlon ColorStay Gel Envy - Pocket Aces
£6.99 - Boots
Although I love the colour and the finish, I found that it chipped quite easily. That said, my friend wore it for over a week without any chipping. Reviews are quite mixed online too so the only thing I can suggest is trying one out for yourself. Something I have been asked, and also noticed a few people asking online, is how easy these polishes are to remove. They remove with normal nail polish remover just like any other polish without the need for soaking.

After falling in love with Pocket Aces I bought myself a few other shades from the range - I'll be posting swatches and a review of them soon. If you've got any shade recommendations then let me know as I'm looking to expand my Revlon collection!

So, overall, Pocket Aces is your perfect summer colour, especially for toes (I love wearing red on my toes!). The finish is very professional looking and amazingly shiny! The only downside for me is the wear-time, I didn't want to let that stop me from choosing it as my Nail Polish as the Month though as there are mixed reviews like I said previously.

I'd love to know what you think of Pocket Aces, and also your thoughts on my Nail Polish of the Month series (see my picks from previous months here), so leave me a comment below!
