Born Pretty Store Nail Art Pen - Nail Art & Review

I'm really pleased with the nail art I'm showing you today; I love the colours and think the design is really pretty. It's one of those that I find myself admiring many times through the day and know I'll not want to take off when the time comes!

The nail polishes I've used are SEVENTEEN 'White Lady', Morgan Taylor 'Varsity Jacket Blues', OPI 'That's Hula-rious', and OPI 'Kiss Me I'm Brazilian'. The black detailing was done using Born Pretty Store's Fast Dry Nail Art Pen (Item # 17645)*.

Nail Art Pen - Review
What I like most about this pen is that the nail polish flows out of it smoothly and steadily. There's no having to squeeze the tube as you do with regular nail pens that have a metal tube nib. This makes for a much easier application as my hand wasn't shaking and I didn't have to worry about squeezing too hard and too much polish coming out as a result.

To begin using the pen you give it a good shake then pump the nib (press down on a hard surface - make sure it's covered with something as you will get nail polish on it!) until the polish starts to come out - it's very easy to do. The quality of the polish is great; the consistency is perfect for nail art as it doesn't run and is completely opaque, it dries quickly too.

I'd recommend this style of pen for beginners as it feels as though you are drawing with a normal pen. The only criticism I have is that the nib isn't very thin so I struggled to draw precisely as you can see from the uneven dots and lines on my nails.

Overall I'm happy with the pen and can see myself using it quite often. There's a huge range of colours to choose from, and priced at just £2.60** they are great value for money. You can see the pens here, and don't forget to use my code 'NM10K31' for a 10% discount on anything you buy from the Born Pretty Store website. Shipping is free too!

I'd love to know what you think of this design - leave me a comment below :)
