My Graduation Nails - Chemistry Nail Art

Yesterday I graduated as a Master of Chemistry with a First - yaaaayyy! I can't even begin to explain how relieved I am that it's over. I was so worried about the graduation event incase I fell over but it was all fine and it turned out to be a lovely day in the end.

Here I am in my cap and gown with my boyfriend.

I wore trousers and a blouse; I'm not really a dress person, plus even if was I really couldn't justify buying a new dress for the occasion when it was going to be covered up by my gown anyway. There was only me and one one other girl wearing trousers but I'm glad I dressed in what I felt most comfortable and confident in.

Obviously I had to do some nail art for the occasion, although I only thought of this the day before so had to do them in a bit of a rush unfortunately! That said, they still took me absolutely ages. They're far from perfect but I was happy enough with them to just be seen from a distance.

I've included parts of the Periodic Table, some molecules, and a couple of safety symbols. I've made a bit of a mistake in my Period Table but I'll leave you to figure out what it is haha!

I hope you like them! Let me know what you think in the comments below :)

p.s. I'm going to Thailand on Friday and I'm not sure how much I'll be able to post while I'm away. I've got a few posts that I'll schedule but hopefully I'll be able to keep you updated with pretty pictures and what I've been up to, and of course what I've got on my nails!

  3. This is such a cute design, my sister recently graduated and I've done graduation themed nails myself. They'll be posted next week if you're interested! I love how you combined two things close to you, chemistry and nail art!

  5. The information and the aspect were just wonderful. I think that your viewpoint is deep. It’s just well thought out who knows how to put these thoughts so well.
