#31DC2015 - 'Styles'

Hello!

Today I've got a round-up post of days 10-20 of the 31 Day Challenge (#31DC2015). As I mentioned in my days 1-10 round-up post, the challenge is split into three categories and days 10-20 is 'Styles'. I found this section quite challenging but also a lot of fun; I got to try out styles I hadn't attempted before and have another go at styles I've failed miserable at in the past! There were also some easier themes in there which lightened the load a bit - I'm finding it so difficult doing designs everyday!

I don't want to waffle on too much so if you want to know more about a particular design then details are on my Instagram page, or you can leave me a question in the comments.

My favourite designs from this section of the challenge are Day 19 - Galaxy, closely followed by Day 16 - Geometric and Day 14 - Flowers. This was my first attempt at rose nail art - I've put it off for so long because it looked difficult but it was actually quite easy to do, I just need a bit more practice to neaten it up. Which is your favourite? Over on Instagram you all seem to be loving Day 12 - Stripes the most. That surprised me as it's a very simple design, but I must admit that pastel stripes are my favourite design to wear!

My picture for Day 18 was taken next to the Eiffel Tower - it's an awful picture but the nails weren't anything special anyway! I'll be doing a post about my trip to Paris and Berlin very soon so keep an eye out for it if you're interested in travel.

As you can see above, the next section is 'Inspired By' and I'm not looking forward to it to be honest! It's going to take a lot of thinking and some intricate designs, and as I'm moving house this week and starting my PhD the week after I don't think I'm going to have much time for it! We'll see how things go anyway.

If you're taking part in the 31 Day Challenge I'd love to see your designs so leave me your link in the comments. I've mainly been doing the challenge on Instagram so if you're keen to keep up to date with the remainder of the challenge then you can find me at @thenailymail.

  2. If you love flowers you can consider this Nail art and spa design. There is no hard and fast rule to have flowers of the same size, which is not possible.
